NEXO: one ERP instead of nine separate systems
La Nuestra is a food producer in Lima, Peru. It used to run on nine separate systems. NEXO brings them together in one, module by module, while the business keeps running.
Who built it
Me, Sjaack Tieman. For nine years I was Production Manager at Unitech: 80 to 120 people, five departments. I'm not a trained developer. I built NEXO with AI, and the floor experience decided what to build.
Each old system keeps running until its NEXO module can fully take over. Only then does the old one go.
Configuration
Who sees what.
- Every role is built from the 202 screens it may open and the 153 actions it may perform.
- One click grants a permission, one click takes it away. La Nuestra manages this themselves.
- Also: delivery zones, carriers, vehicles, and the channels customers message on (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, website).
Logistics
Routes, deliveries and cash, stop by stop.
- Each morning every zone gets a truck, a driver and a co-driver.
- At every stop the driver confirms on their phone what was delivered and how it was paid: cash, Yape, Plin (Peru's mobile payment apps), transfer or credit.
- The office follows the route on a map. At the end, the driver's cash count sits next to what each stop says was paid.
Production
Output against target, per machine and per worker.
- Each day the team records who worked which machine, for how long, and what came out. NEXO compares it with that machine's target.
- Formulations turn kilos of raw material into percentages per batch.
- Monthly performance per worker feeds into their bonus. Planning works backwards from units to mixes, machines, raw material and a finish date.
Sales
From first lead to paid sale.
- A sale takes a few clicks, with stock and total shown as you type.
- Price lists with volume tiers, and a new list starts as a copy of an existing one.
- Leads from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, the web and the B2B chat, each with an origin, an owner and a status.
HR
People, time and pay in one place.
- Staff clock in on kiosk tablets linked to NEXO. Lateness, absences and overtime show up without anyone counting.
- Vacation days are earned and counted automatically.
- Payroll per half-month: salary, deductions, additions and the amount paid.
Finance
Every sol traceable.
- Every cash box and bank account shows its balance. Payments only count once finance confirms them.
- Credit payments split over several methods and settle the oldest installments first.
- Each returning truck's route is settled on one screen. Reports export to Excel or PDF.
Inventory
What's in every warehouse, and how it got there.
- Stock per warehouse, with products below their minimum in red.
- A kardex per product: purchases, sales, transfers and adjustments with a running balance.
- Transfers and adjustments each get their own document number. NEXO refuses to move more than a warehouse holds.
Names and amounts in the videos are made up. The screens are real. Each film shows only a small part of its module.
